Salt spray chamber (corrosion tester)

We carry out very rigorous quality control tests on our products with this machinery. Our products and finished luminaires are exposed not only to constant vapour but also to high levels of salinity in order to determine qualitative resistance to corrosive attack on the product’s surface.

All types of luminaires or components (led strips, power supplies, led modules etc) to be installed close to the sea suffer not only high humidity levels, but also aggressive corrosion due to saltpetre. This penetrates inside the luminaire or light box and in a very short time, if the products haven’t been correctly treated to prevent this, they will deteriorate and stop functioning.
